Chocolate & Wine-Tasting

Programme

In the first part of the tasting discover the art and ingredients of the finest chocolate, crafted by artisans in the noble tradition. As grapes from different regions produce unique wines, the cocoa beans from a plantation in Madagascar produce a unique chocolate compared to beans from a plantation in Venezuela. 

We will guide the group through a tasting of chocolate handmade from beans from different plantations and allow plenty of time to savour each distinctive variety.  Our journey will enhance each guest's enjoyment of chocolate and lead to an appreciation of the tastes that best suit their own palate.

The second part of the tasting matches different chocolates to our fine dessert wines, specially selected because they complement gourmet chocolate perfectly.  Our aim is to challenge the tastebuds and stimulate both wine novices and experts to experiment with new and different taste combinations. 

Timing

Tastings last approximately 90 minutes and we suggest a start time between 5.30 and 6.30 pm, when the palate is at its most receptive.

Venue

We can run our event on your premises for up to 50 guests, subject to suitability of the venue.  Or, we can select a venue on your behalf and add the room hire charge to the cost of the event. 

Costs

£25 plus VAT per person, subject to a minimum charge of £500 plus VAT per event.  If we incur a room hire charge this will be added to the cost of the event.  For companies, our invoice is payable within 14 days following the event. For all other groups, full payment is required on the evening of the event.
